Head Baker

As the Head Baker at our bustling bakery in Mecca, you will oversee the production of various baked goods and ensure their quality and consistency. You will be responsible for creating new recipes, managing inventory, and training and supervising a team of bakers. Your expertise in baking techniques and flavor combinations will be vital in maintaining our reputation for delicious treats. This position is suitable for experienced bakers with a passion for creating delectable pastries, breads, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, able to work long hours on their feet, and have excellent time management skills. A competitive salary of $1300 per month will be offered to the right candidate. This job does not include accommodation, so it is suitable for local candidates or those with their own visa. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a baker
- Experience as a head baker or in a supervisory role preferred
- Culinary degree or certification in baking/pastry arts preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new recipes and adapt existing ones
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and manage a team
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production of baked goods such as pastries, breads, cakes, etc.
- Ensure all products meet our quality standards
- Develop new recipes and make adjustments to existing ones based on customer feedback or seasonal availability of ingredients
- Manage inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Train new bakers on our recipes, baking techniques, and safety procedures
- Supervise the work of bakers to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to develop new products and promotions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into our menu offerings
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene in the bakery
