Cashier for a Busy Convenience Store in Medina

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at a busy convenience store in Medina. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a neat and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and helpful service
- Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts accurately
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment in a secure manner
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers with their purchases
- Keep the checkout area clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset but not required
- Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds as needed
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who require it.
