Librarian in Dubai, UAE Librarian Job in Dubai We are seeking an experienced Librarian for a full-time position in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in library services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the largest and most prestigious library collections in the Middle East. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and managing library services including acquisitions, cataloguing, circulation, and reference services. You will maintain print and electronic collections and will develop patrons’ use of library resources to enhance knowledge, culture, education and business. Successful applicants will possess excellent research and communication skills and must be proficient in English and another language relevant to the Middle East. Knowledge of library computer applications and familiarity with current library materials and procedures is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science (or related field) is preferred. We are willing to consider foreign candidates for this position and offer a salary of AED 1600 per month
