Requirements for the Candidate:

-Strong knowledge of welding technology and related equipment, including TIG and MIG welding
-At least 5 years of welding experience
-Ability to follow blueprints, schematics, and written instructions
-Manual dexterity
-Understanding of safety standards for welding

Job Duties:

-Reading blueprints and setting up welding machines
-Welding metal components to create structures according to specific diagrams and designs
-Inspecting and testing welded components and structures for accuracy, quality and integrity
-Adjusting welding machines and tools to achieve the desired result
-Identifying and addressing potential weld defects, then making repairs
-Maintaining accurate records of all welds completed
