Job Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory tests such as titrations, spectroscopy, chromatography and other analytical methods according to established protocols
• Analyze samples using scientific principles in order to identify components or determine chemical properties
• Participate in quality control activities such as validation of test methods
• Utilize laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, titrators etc., interpret results and document findings accurately
• Prepare reports on laboratory results, analyses data from experiments/studies/tests conducted; suggest conclusions based on data collected
• Compile data from multiple sources (e.g., laboratory testing results) into reports for review by supervisors or other stakeholders
• Monitor safety protocols in the lab setting; adhere to safety regulations including proper handling techniques for hazardous chemicals

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or related field
• At least two years' experience working as a chemist or related role
• Strong knowledge of chemistry principles including analytical techniques used to characterize materials
• Excellent written communication skills with an ability to interpret scientific data into reports that can be understood by all levels within the organization
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
