Web Developer - Dubai

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coding, experience with development of websites, and be willing to learn new technologies. Requirements for Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of professional web development experience
• Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other web technologies
• Experience with popular content management systems (WordPress, Drupal etc.)
• Knowledge of server-side scripting languages (such as Ruby, Python etc.) is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills in written English
• Willingness to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Role and Responsibilities:
The Web Developer will be responsible for developing websites from scratch as well as maintaining existing sites. This includes writing code, performing quality assurance testing, troubleshooting functionality errors and optimizing performance. Additional responsibilities include:
• Develop web applications using HTML/CSS, JavaScript & other web technologies
• Design website layouts/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create innovative solutions to improve user experience
• Optimize applications for maximum speed & scalability
