Job Summary
We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with surveying land and be comfortable working in both outdoor and indoor settings. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities
• Use advanced surveying techniques such as GPS mapping, aerial photography or 3D scanning to measure terrain heights or depths.
• Interpret legal documents such as deeds or titles when doing boundary surveys.
• Take precise measurements of roads, buildings and other structures using mathematical calculations and instruments such as theodolites or transits.
• Prepare reports on survey findings such as property boundaries, distances between objects or land elevations.
• Review data collected by colleagues before submitting it for review by senior staff members or clients.
• Ensure that all equipment is calibrated correctly before use and that safety protocols are adhered to at all times while on the job site.

Qualifications
• Degree in land surveying or related field from an accredited university/college is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience may be considered if necessary.
• Experience with GPS mapping systems, aerial photography or 3D scanning is beneficial but not essential for this role.
• Excellent mathematics skills with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately is essential for this position; knowledge of trigonometry is helpful too.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively according to deadlines is important for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in both outdoor and indoor settings is essential; strong communication skills are also necessary when liaising with colleagues or clients on project details..
