Job Description:
The Crane Operator is responsible for operating mechanical cranes to lift, move, position and reposition various materials, in accordance with signals from the crane spotter. The Crane Operator must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions from supervisors as well as know how to use the proper safety precautions. This is a full-time position in Abu-Dhabi.

Responsibilities:
• Operate crane safely according to proper procedures
• Follow instructions from the supervisor or spotter
• Ensure that safety protocols are met during operation
• Monitor crane while operating it in order to prevent accidents
• Monitor load weights and ensure balance throughout transfer process
• Secure cargo prior to moving it by using appropriate securing techniques
• Perform regular maintenance on crane equipment
• Report any malfunctions or issues with the equipment to supervisor immediately

Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Crane operator or in a related field
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Good physical strength with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary • Working knowledge of rigging methods including cable tensioning, knot tying, sling angles etc. • Knowledgeable about OSHA regulations regarding cranes and rigging operations • Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions • High school diploma or equivalent required
