Accountant in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


We are looking for an experienced and competent Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations and more.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting or finance, excellent analytical skills and a good understanding of accounting principles. They should also have experience with popular accounting software like Quickbooks or Sage. The successful candidate must also be able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain up-to-date financial records
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Analyze financial data to identify potential areas of improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and taxes
- Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures
- Prepare year-end audit schedules and provide assistance during audits
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required
- Experience with Quickbooks or Sage preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
