Crane Operator Vacancy in Ajman

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Crane Operator for our construction site in Ajman. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. The operator must have the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Job Description:

• Operate crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads according to written instructions or verbal instructions from supervisor or other personnel.
• Inspect crane before use and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Operate crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to signal or directions from supervisor.
• Monitor load rigging to ensure safety of workers on the ground during lifting operations.
• Verify load weight using calibrated equipment prior to lifting/moving.
• Read blueprints and sketches to determine work procedures and identify location of materials.
• Secure loads properly with chains or slings for transport.
• Move levers and pedals to control crane functions such as hoisting, swinging, traveling etc., in order to move materials accurately into position as directed by supervisor/other personnel on the ground.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience operating cranes in a construction environment
• Valid UAE driving license with heavy vehicle endorsement is preferred but not required
• Must be physically fit with good eyesight, hand-eye coordination, color perception, depth perception etc., as these are necessary for operating cranes safely
