Contract Librarian

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Librarian to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. This is a contract position, ideal for an Indian national looking for a temporary job opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Organize and classify materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Develop and implement library programs and services for the community
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation statistics
- Collaborate with other librarians to select new materials for the collection
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working as a librarian, preferably in a contract or temporary position
- Strong knowledge of library organization systems and cataloging techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required
