Sous Chef


Our five-star restaurant in Al Ahmadi is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Pakistani Executive Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, creating innovative menus, and training and managing a team of cooks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent culinary knowledge, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Prepare food according to recipes and maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and quality
- Ensure timely execution of all dishes during service hours
- Assist in developing new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Oversee food cost control measures to ensure profitability without compromising quality or portion sizes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani cuisine
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of creating outstanding dishes while maintaining cost control
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with accommodation. Candidates must possess a biometric passport for visa purposes.
