Excavator Operator


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Salalah. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or mining projects. Your main duties will include operating the excavator safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and following project plans and instructions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Use the excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, move materials and perform other tasks as required
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure its proper functioning
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols
- Keep a record of daily activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Complete any other duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction or mining environment
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand project plans and instructions
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is an asset)
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
