Entry Level Merchandiser


A well-established retail company in Ar-Ruwais is seeking an Entry Level Merchandiser to join their team. This is a contract position, perfect for those without experience looking to gain valuable skills in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will be a fluent English speaker and open to working with diverse cultures, as this position is open to both Africans and Malayalees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up displays and organizing products according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are stocked on shelves
- Collaborate with sales associates to ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and effectively
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure product availability and proper pricing
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding product placement or availability to the merchandising manager
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities in order to make recommendations for product placement and pricing strategies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Openness to working with diverse cultures
