Contract Architectural Designer

As a Contract Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing architectural plans and drawings for various building projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that designs meet their needs and comply with building codes and regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to think creatively will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural plans and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements
- Create concept sketches and present them to clients for approval
- Ensure that designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements
- Make any necessary revisions to designs based on client feedback or technical constraints
- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure that construction is progressing according to plans
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in architectural design or a similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software and other computer programs used in architecture (e.g. SketchUp, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve effectively
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
