Junior Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts to monitor and secure our company's information systems and networks. You will be responsible for identifying potential security threats, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and providing recommendations for improving our overall security posture.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor all network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
- Identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Assist in the implementation of security protocols and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies
- Investigate and respond to any reported security incidents
- Perform regular audits of access controls and user permissions
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and associated security controls
- Familiarity with various security tools (SIEMs, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an IT or information security role preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS) preferred

Salary: 1600$ per month

City: Kaunas
