Entry-Level Executive Chef
We are seeking an ambitious and talented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Executive Chef in Akron, USA. As a fresh graduate or someone looking for a career change, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs and gain hands-on experience in all areas of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and meets customers' expectations
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and purchasing decisions
Requirements:
- Passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot environment
Compensation:
