Job Title: Gardener

As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients in Eldoret. Your main duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and general upkeep of plants and flowers. You will also be in charge of ensuring that the gardens are free of pests and diseases by implementing appropriate pest control methods. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong passion for gardening and a good understanding of plants, their care requirements, and their specific needs. You must also have excellent attention to detail to ensure that the gardens are always well-maintained and visually appealing. Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role is preferred.

Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of different plants and their care requirements
- Experience in gardening or related field
- Strong physical stamina to handle manual labor
- Ability to use gardening tools and equipment effectively
- Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks

Responsibilities:
- Planting new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants according to seasonal needs
- Maintaining the health of existing plants by watering, fertilizing, pruning, and weeding
- Identifying pests or diseases on plants and implementing appropriate control measures
- Maintaining clean garden beds by removing debris or dead plants
- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, edging walkways as needed
- Operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers etc.
- Communicating with clients to understand their specific garden preferences
and making necessary adjustments accordingly

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Eldoret but may require occasional travel to other locations within the city depending on client needs.
