Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Balzers. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your role will involve interpreting spoken or written words from one language to another accurately and effectively. This is a vital role in ensuring effective communication in various settings, including conferences, business meetings, legal proceedings, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Listen carefully to the speaker's words in the original language
- Interpret the meaning of the speaker's words accurately and concisely
- Use specialized vocabulary and terminology for different industries or subjects
- Maintain cultural sensitivity and awareness while interpreting
- Ensure confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Take notes to aid in accurate interpretation
- Use technology such as microphones or headsets during interpretation sessions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or similar role
- Fluent in at least two languages, including English
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of specialized vocabulary and terminology related to various industries
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Excellent note-taking skills
- Proficient with technology used for interpretation

Preferred:
- Degree in Translation/Interpretation or related field
- Certification from a recognized institution
