Restaurant Manager
As the Restaurant Manager at our lively and popular establishment in Clairvaux, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. Our ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive work environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring high-quality food and service standards are maintained
- Recruit, train, and schedule front-of-house and back-of-house employees to meet business needs
- Create and maintain budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to increase profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Foster a positive work culture by providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to employees
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (French language skills would be an asset)
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate team members to achieve goals
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including food safety regulations, inventory management, budgeting, and cost control techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
