Librarian

A reputable library in Albena is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Librarian to manage its collection and assist patrons with their research needs. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for cataloging new materials, maintaining the library's database, and ensuring all materials are properly shelved. Additionally, you will provide reference services to patrons, assist with library events and programs, and oversee the library's budget.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of biometric passports and be able to assist patrons with any related inquiries.

Responsibilities:
- Catalog new materials using the library's database system
- Organize and shelve materials according to the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries and research needs
- Plan and execute library events and programs
- Manage the library's budget and ensure all expenses are properly documented
- Stay updated on new literature releases and recommend popular titles for purchase
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a library setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of biometric passports (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Albena, Bulgaria (Indian applicants preferred)

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
