Foundryman - Split, Croatia


We are seeking a skilled Foundryman to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for melting and casting various metals into molds to create a variety of metal products. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$, and accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, and molds
- Melt metals according to specific formulas and temperatures
- Pour molten metal into molds to create castings
- Monitor and control the pouring process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Remove castings from molds once cooled
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foundryman or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their melting points
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Physical stamina to withstand the heat of the foundry environment
- Attention to detail and ability to spot defects in castings
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating metal ratios
- Willingness to work in a team environment

Preferences:
We welcome candidates of any nationality who have experience in foundry work. However, preference will be given to Indian candidates as we have had positive experiences with Indian workers in the past.
