Sous Chef
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Bansko. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in creating and executing delicious and visually appealing dishes. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Supervising and training kitchen staff
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
This position is open to Filipino nationals who have a passion for cooking, strong work ethic, and can thrive in a diverse team environment.
