Computer Support Specialist

We are hiring a Computer Support Specialist to join our IT team in Funchal. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Your role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, installing and configuring computer systems, maintaining equipment and software, and providing training to users.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications. You should also be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems
- Install and configure computer systems
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Train users on new systems or software applications
- Document all support activities for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1400$ per month without accommodation.
Location: Funchal (Portugal)
