Junior Information Security Analyst
Location: Funchal, Portugal


We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Junior Information Security Analyst in our company. As a key member of our information security team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's sensitive data and systems from potential cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to detect any suspicious activities.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and incidents reported by users, taking necessary actions to mitigate the impact.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities in order to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures across all systems.
- Provide training and support for employees on information security best practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH or CISSP are preferred.
- Knowledge of information security principles, methodologies, and technologies.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard.
- Experience with log management tools like Splunk or ELK stack is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
