Entry-Level Librarian

We are seeking a passionate Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an Entry-Level Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with locating and retrieving materials, maintaining the library's collection, and providing support to library staff. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating and retrieving materials
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library
- Process new materials and add them to the collection
- Provide support to library staff in daily operations
- Answer basic reference questions and assist with research inquiries
- Organize and lead library programs and events for all ages

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with library systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passion for books, reading, and promoting literacy

Salary: Starting at $1200 per month
