Office Assistant
We are a dynamic and fast-paced company looking for an Office Assistant to join our team in Mombasa. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, such as memos, emails, and letters
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, invoicing, and filing
- Assist with HR tasks, such as maintaining employee records and organizing new hire paperwork
- Help with event planning and coordination
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who require it. Visa sponsorship may also be available for the right candidate.
