Excavator Operator - Eldoret, Kenya


We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to move and load earth, rock, and other materials. This position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment before use
- Safely load and unload materials using excavator
- Keep work area clean and free of debris
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor regarding job progress
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read maps, follow directions, and work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
