Mason Supervisor

As a Mason Supervisor in our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team of masons on various building projects in the city of Isa Town. You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience in masonry techniques and be able to provide guidance and support to your team to ensure high-quality work is completed on time and within budget.

Your duties as a Mason Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

- Managing a team of masons, assigning tasks and providing on-site supervision
- Ensuring that all work is carried out according to safety regulations and standards
- Inspecting work for quality control and making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine materials needed
- Ordering materials and tools required for each project
- Providing training and guidance to new team members or apprentices
- Maintaining inventory of materials, tools, and equipment
- Communicating with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople as needed

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mason in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete work, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials if necessary

Salary: 1600$ per month without accommodation.
