Indian Interpreter


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Interpreter to join our team in Acre. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients who speak Indian languages. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month, plus accommodation and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings such as meetings, conferences, interviews, and other events
- Accurately and objectively convey spoken messages from one language to another
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting
- Research and familiarize yourself with technical or industry-specific terminology in both languages
- Understand cultural references and idiomatic expressions to accurately interpret meaning
- Take notes or use electronic devices to aid in the interpretation process
- Work collaboratively with other interpreters if needed
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in at least one Indian language (Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, etc.)
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey messages accurately
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Knowledge of relevant software tools (such as CAT tools) is a plus
- Biometric passport required for international travel
