Plumber Supervisor

We are in need of a skilled Plumber Supervisor to oversee our team of plumbers in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in plumbing and a strong understanding of building codes and regulations. The Plumber Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in various residential and commercial properties. This role requires excellent leadership skills to effectively manage a team and ensure timely completion of projects. The salary for this position is 1100$ per month, without accommodation. This position is suitable for men who are physically fit and able to work in various environments. English language proficiency is not required.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of plumbers to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Plan and assign daily tasks to team members based on project priorities
- Inspect completed jobs to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with building codes
- Train new employees on proper plumbing techniques and safety procedures
- Communicate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide cost estimates for projects
- Order materials and equipment needed for projects within budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on job sites
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team or with clients

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a plumber, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, techniques, and tools
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
