Position: Barista
Location: Bungoma, Kenya
Salary: $1000/month

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the café and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to established recipes
- Ensure quality control by monitoring the freshness of ingredients and proper brewing techniques
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and handling complaints
- Maintain cleanliness of the café including equipment, counters, tables, and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art skills preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required
- Must have own visa or work permit for Kenya
