As a Miner, you will be responsible for extracting valuable minerals and resources from the earth. You will work in underground mines, open-pit mines, or quarries to locate and extract minerals such as coal, iron, gold, and diamonds. Your role is crucial in supplying the world with essential materials for various industries.

Responsibilities:
- Operate mining equipment such as drills, bulldozers, and conveyor belts
- Locate and determine the quality of mineral deposits
- Create tunnels and shafts to access mineral deposits
- Monitor air quality and ventilation systems in underground mines
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
- Transport extracted materials to the surface for processing
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Keep accurate records of daily production and submit reports to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in mining or heavy machinery operation preferred
- Good physical stamina as the job requires working in confined spaces and operating heavy equipment for long periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in mining operations
- Ability to read maps, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for operating machinery with precision

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month. This may vary depending on experience, location, company size, and other factors.

Location:
This position is based in Eldoret. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently living in this city.
