Entry-Level Librarian


We are hiring an Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Akron, Egypt. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of library materials, providing reference services to patrons, and promoting library resources and programs. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the library field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials using appropriate classification systems
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing resources, including books, articles, and databases
- Provide reference services and answer questions about library resources and services
- Promote library programs and events through various channels such as social media and flyers
- Process new acquisitions and manage the circulation of materials
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new programs or initiatives
- Ensure the library space is clean, organized, and inviting for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of library systems and technologies
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.
