Merchandiser
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maximizing sales by ensuring products are displayed effectively and attractively in retail stores. Your primary goal will be to increase product visibility and drive customer interest through creative displays and promotions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute merchandising strategies in alignment with company goals
- Negotiate with store managers to secure prime shelf space for products
- Create eye-catching displays and store layouts to increase product visibility
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking
- Train store staff on product features, benefits, and sales techniques
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for product placement
- Collaborate with marketing department to develop effective promotional campaigns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising or retail sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed
- Knowledge of Indian market trends is a plus
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
