Information Security Analyst
As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive information from cyber threats and attacks. This role will require you to analyze and monitor security measures, identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also be responsible for implementing security policies and procedures, conducting security audits, and providing training to employees on best practices for data protection. This position is based in Karachi and offers a salary of $1400 with accommodation provided. Male candidates with their own visa are preferred for this role.

As an Information Security Analyst, your main duties will include monitoring network activity, identifying potential security breaches, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. You will also conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the system. Your strong analytical skills will be essential as you analyze security data and provide recommendations for improving overall security.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to ensure that all systems are properly secured. You may also work with external vendors to implement new security technologies or solutions. Your attention to detail is crucial as you review logs and reports to identify any suspicious or unauthorized activity.

Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the organization's disaster recovery plan. This includes creating backup procedures, conducting regular backups of critical data, and developing procedures for restoring data in case of a breach or system failure.

As an ideal candidate for this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. You should also have at least 2-3 years of experience working in information security or a similar technical role. Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies is required.

You must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Additionally, effective communication skills are important as you will need to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
