Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in the historic city of Acre, Israel. As a Preservation Architect, you will play a critical role in preserving and restoring the city's ancient structures and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary repairs and restoration work.
- Develop detailed preservation plans and proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and materials needed.
- Oversee preservation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to historical preservation standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper execution of restoration projects.
- Conduct research on historical architecture and construction techniques to inform preservation efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work done on each structure or building.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for historical accuracy.
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1100 per month. Accommodation will also be provided.
Location:
This is a full-time position located in Acre, an ancient city on the northern coast of Israel known for its rich history and cultural significance. The ideal candidate would be an Indian national with a passion for preserving historical sites.
