Junior Information Security Analyst


A fast-growing information technology company in St. Petersburg is seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to protect our company's data and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates without prior experience in the field to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the fast-paced and ever-evolving field of information security.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and analyze data to identify potential risks or threats
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security breaches and provide incident response
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security solutions and protocols
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in information security
- Participate in risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and databases (SQL)
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary: 1800$

Location: St. Petersburg, Russia
