Pastry Chef
We are hiring a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Lusail. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of baked goods, desserts, and other sweet treats. You must have a passion for pastry making and a keen eye for detail to produce beautiful and delicious creations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various baked goods and desserts according to recipes or customized orders
- Decorate pastries using different techniques such as icing, glazing, piping, etc.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure all food safety standards are met during the preparation process
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items or special event desserts
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in pastry making
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution
- Creativity and attention to detail in pastry making
- Strong knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, ingredients, and decorations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills to meet deadlines for orders or events
- Good communication skills to effectively train junior chefs and collaborate with other team members
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of nationality. However, candidates with Canadian nationality will be given preference.
Note: This job may require working on weekends or late evenings depending on orders or events.
