Excavator Operator


As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This job requires a high level of skill and experience in operating excavators, as well as knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, and perform other tasks as directed
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Monitor and maintain fuel levels, fluid levels, and other necessary materials for equipment operation
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor immediately
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding job specifications
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time

-Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
-Must have own transportation

$1500 per month
