Junior QA Engineer (Contract Position)


As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance testing on software applications and systems. This includes conducting manual and automated tests to identify any defects or errors in the software and ensuring that it meets the specified requirements. You will work closely with the development team to understand the functionality of the software and provide feedback on any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing on software applications
- Identify, record, and report any bugs or issues found during testing
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all requirements are met
- Develop test plans and procedures based on project requirements
- Monitor testing progress and communicate any delays or roadblocks to the project lead
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
- Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements for future releases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues in software functionality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Oslo, Norway (accommodation provided)
