Computer Support Specialist

We are hiring a highly skilled and customer-oriented Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues, and installing and configuring new hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients through various channels such as phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Install and update software applications.
- Train end-users on basic computer functions and software usage.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure effective communication and resolution of client issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience working with customers in a support role is preferred.
