Metal Worker
Location: Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment. This is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure materials and mark cutting lines on them
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using hand tools or machines
- Weld or solder metal pieces together to fabricate structures or repair damaged parts
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or structures and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other workers such as engineers, designers, or supervisors to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, etc.
- Experience with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in metalworking is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per week.

Location:
This job is located in Alta, Norway. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position for the duration of the project. The specific duration will be discussed during the interview process.
