Sous Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Sous Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Clairvaux. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Create new dishes and specials that showcase local ingredients
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain consistent taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Manage food costs and adhere to budgetary guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations

- Availability to work evenings, weekends,
and holidays
Salary:
