Housekeeper

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized living space for the residents of our home. This includes performing general cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, as well as more specialized tasks like laundry and washing dishes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in housekeeping and be detail-oriented, with strong time management skills. They must also be able to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision. This is a live-in position with accommodation provided, so the candidate must be comfortable living on-site. A valid work visa is required for non-Kenyan applicants. No English language proficiency is necessary for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchen areas
- Wash dishes and put them away
- Make beds and change linens regularly
- Do laundry, including folding and putting away clothes
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replacements are needed
- Ensure all rooms are tidy and well-maintained
- Report any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate person

Requirements:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties (such as bending, lifting, etc.)
- Comfortable living on-site (accommodation provided)
