Back-End Developer (Utena, Lithuania)


A Back-End Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying complex web applications and services. They work closely with the front-end development team to ensure that the overall application functions seamlessly. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop server-side code for high-volume web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with server-side frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
