Office Assistant
We are in search of a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our office operations. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Create and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and make travel arrangements for staff as needed.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
- Coordinate meetings or events by arranging venues, catering services, and other logistics.
- Handle confidential documents with discretion.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Salary: $1400 per month
Location: Funchal
