Concrete Worker

A construction company in Funchal is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces according to project specifications. This is a full-time position with an urgent need to fill.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Set up forms for pouring concrete and ensure they are properly aligned
- Prepare surfaces for concrete by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
- Pour concrete into forms using equipment such as wheelbarrows or pumps
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools
- Monitor curing process and make adjustments as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with concrete in a construction setting
- Understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently as needed
- Valid work visa for Funchal (or ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to work full-time with flexible hours as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
