Metal Worker


A metal worker is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and installing metal structures and products. They use their knowledge of welding, cutting, and shaping techniques to create various metal objects such as gates, fences, railings, and furniture. As a metal worker in our company in Lahore, you will be expected to work full time with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine the specifications for the project
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using various tools such as rulers and calipers
- Cut and shape metal pieces using hand or power tools such as saws, grinders, or plasma cutters
- Weld or solder metal pieces together according to the specified requirements
- Smooth out rough edges or surfaces using files or sandpaper
- Assemble finished products by bolting, riveting, or welding pieces together
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that the product meets the required standards
- Repair damaged metal structures by cutting out damaged sections and replacing them with new ones
- Install finished products at the designated location using appropriate tools and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Proven experience working as a metal worker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in metalworking
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
