Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant in Funchal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry and be able to effectively manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, operations, and customer service. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff schedules, inventory, and budget.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Train and develop staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
- Create new menus and work with chefs to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation.
- Monitor sales and expenses to maximize profitability while maintaining high quality standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Develop relationships with customers to build loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and customer service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and controlling costs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Funchal
